Culture, Education, and Future (CEF) is published by Symphony, an academic publisher headquartered in Montana, USA. Symphony is dedicated to supporting the advancement of scientific research by contributing to efficient and effective dissemination and exchange of knowledge through open access, peer-reviewed journals. Our mission is to provide free and open access to scholarly content for a global audience of researchers, academics, and students.
Symphony's organizational structure clearly separates business operations from editorial decisions, ensuring complete editorial independence. The Editorial Board operates autonomously in all content-related decisions, while Symphony provides the necessary infrastructure and technical support for publishing operations. This independence is detailed in our Publication Ethics & Malpractice statement.
Symphony operates through a balanced business model that embraces both non-APC and APC-based revenue streams. For select journals in our portfolio, including CEF, we maintain a zero-fee publication policy with no Article Processing Charges (APCs) required from authors. All published content remains freely accessible to readers worldwide, underscoring our unwavering commitment to open access principles.
CEF is sponsored by the Association for the Advancement of Interdisciplinary Education Studies (AAIDES), which provides promotional support for the journal. This affiliation helps increase the visibility of CEF within relevant academic communities while maintaining complete editorial independence.
AAIDES was established to support a worldwide field of interdisciplinary education studies. The organization provides support for scholarly conversations within and across national and regional borders about the content, context, and process of education, with interdisciplinary research at its core.
AAIDES seeks to advance the field of interdisciplinary education by encouraging collaborative approaches that integrate knowledge and methodologies from various subject areas. In addition, AAIDES actively initiates and leads educational reform efforts through high-quality research and preparation programs. In accordance with this purpose, AAIDES works collaboratively with schools and educational agencies to positively influence local, state, and national educational policy.
